Happy New Year and Greets

Burger Run at Peppermint Twist in Delano, MN As we look back on the year 2007, with it's rising gas prices. It's good to know that our hobby is VW's. That small little car with it's four cylinder gas efficient engine. Allowing us to get our cars out and use them more often than some clubs. With all the events we have this year that'll come in handy. Our burger runs are turning out to be very successful with more and more members each time. If you have a favorite restaurant or drive-in that you think would work for a cruise for food. Call me or show up at one of our meetings. The burger runs are usually on Wednesday nights at 6:30.

We just had our January Holiday Dinner. Everyone I talked to had a great time with more than enough food. The prizes, well just ask Bill Jenkins he won the 15in. Flat screen TV.

Burger Run at Peppermint Twist in Delano, MN Now on to this year, and it's going to be great. We have a full calender of events. Starting with an indoor swap meet in April, the Bug-In this June, German car shows, Tours to other shows, Five hamburger runs, Fall color tour and more.

For the Bug-In this year we changed a few things. Like FREE entrance for show cars and spectators. This way we'll get more free advertising and be able to make it up on food and drinks. Free also means no fences to put up the day before. But we still need to move new cars off the lot on Saturday. We'll need at lest 20 volunteers to make this happen. Then after the cars are moved we join the other club members at West Side VW for the dinner cruise.

I still encourage you to preregister, this will make the front gate go a little faster and easer. If you have any more ideas for the Bug-In,( games, events, door prizes or ? ) please show up at one of our meetings or call me. Rich (952) 544-1679

Don't forget to mark your calendars. We want to see you again this year. If you like to drive new cars, we'll be moving a few hundred brand new ones and need some help. Contact us if you'd like to drive a few.
