We're Minnesota's Largest VW Club
About Us
The Twin Cities VW Club is a registered non-profit organization, run
voluntarily by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts.
We invite all persons
interested in Volkswagens to join our club. Unlike many organizations, we
don't place restrictions on VW ownership (daily driver, collectable,
water-cooled, AirCooled or no VWs). We have many events throughout the
year where you can meet enthusiasts with similar VW interests. Our goal is
to provide the resources to help you enjoy your Volkswagen to the fullest
degree.
Club Dues
Membership in the Twin Cities VW Club is $20.00 annually for an
individual membership. Our fiscal year goes from June to June. For this,
you'll receive our monthly newsletters and many other benefits.
Our Mission
The Twin Cities VW Club mission is to pride a fun and informal place to
share your Volkswagen Enthusiasm. Because we all have busy lives, we
strive to have our events in typically "lower priority" times (meetings
and cruise events are normally 7:00 Wednesdays and Bug Ins are on Sundays)
this allows you to have your hobby and a home life too. We welcome all
interested to join even if you don't own a VW.
What We Do
The Twin Cities VW Club meets monthly on the first Wednesday of the
month. Our club cosponsors the annual Bug-In with Luther's Westside Volkswagen.
Various members host local activities such as: Swap Meets, Bug-Ins, Dinner
Cruises and Holiday Parties.
Who Can Join
We invite everyone to join our organization. Your Volkswagen doesn't
have to be a bone-stock original model, nor does it have to be a
show-winning Volkswagen. You don't have to own a Volkswagen to be a
member! The majority of our members are simply in the Twin Cities VW Club
for fun and educational purposes.
The Newsletter
All members receive a copy of the monthly newsletter with their annual
membership. The newsletter contains valuable do-it-yourself fix up hints
and coverage of area events. If you are interested in selling extra parts,
or searching for needed ones; buying a Volkswagen, or parting with one,
our classified section is for you. Members advertise for free in the
classifieds. We also have an events calendar to help you stay in touch
with Volkswagen events worldwide. Volkswagen businesses advertise in the
newsletter. Partner vendors offer substantial discounts.
Business Advertising - Newsletter
Newsletter ad rates are $5.00 for business card size, $15.00 1/4 page,
$30.00 1/2 page and $50.00 full page per monthly issue. All advertising
space is located inside (no front or back) the newsletter. Deadline for
ads are the 1st Thursday of each month.
